Just before I set on foot to lovely Cebu, Bantayan & Bohol a few weeks ago, I've finally took a leap in my passion by exploring Hidalgo and finally meeting the legendary Mang Ramon of Mayers. I have read a lot about this man. I was loaded with everything I need to counter his annoying antics. But he proved me wrong. I was expecting this guy to play it hard on me but I was disappointed. There came this Chinese guy that greeted me warmly and answered my query with intellect. I know for sure that this guy knows his business and he can smell exactly when real deal is coming. Viola in a few minutes I got my hands running on my hard earned D90.
The Visayas tour was over and I am back here in Manila to deal with my daily routines. In spite that I am mostly spending my time in the Rizal, I have not frozen my Fitness First account still, there is hope that before the year ends, I will be frequenting Metro Manila often giving me ample time to shed th sweat out of me. In the meantime my business now is choosing between the zoom & wide angle lens for my D90. These two lens types would definitely cost an arm & leg on my budget. I am holding back the cash but I realized that this is the nest time for me to explore new avenues of my interest while I ma free. Once I'm back into action, I doubt if I would have pleasure to think of these things that much. The easiest thing to do is getting into a swipe mode when the plastics are offering a lot of perks. Another story follows when it's payback time.
Oh I guess Im getting off the topic. Anyway, the real ordeal would choosing between a 55-300 VR Nikon Lens with 2 yr warranty over a 70-300 VR new but no warranty. As for price, the latter is a gem but having the thought of getting it without a warranty is a big gamble. I have asked around with other photo enthusiast and all leads me to getting the expnsive one even without the warranty. Point is, I have try it several times before closing the deal. When it comes to lens, the utmost concern is picture quality rndition. No matter how tough a lens cuould be at its pristine condition and yet it fails to deliver bottom line its far more a waste of money. So here I am looking forward to finally getting the right stuff.
